About Us

Character Development Thru Martial Arts

We are dedicated to the highest quality of martial arts training. We are committed to continually enhancing our program to address exercise, drills, safety tips, and a realistic approach to self-defense situations.

We teach courtesy, loyalty, respect, honor, integrity, and self-control, and we provide an environment conducive to positive relationships, fostering self-discipline, self-confidence, and self-respect.

Our carefully structured programs go far beyond punching, blocking, and kicking. Being a martial artist is not just learning to kick and punch; it is about becoming the best that you can be in every way.

Martial Arts Classes for Every Age

Little Dragons

Ages 7 and under

Classes created especially for children 7 and under.

Kids' Taekwondo

Ages 8 to 11

Taekwondo fundamentals plus awareness of important issues such as Stranger Danger and Internet Safety.

Teens

Ages 12 to 15

The fundamentals of self-defense and the importance of good physical fitness.

Adults

Taekwondo · Hapkido · BJJ · Eskrima

We offer Taekwondo, Hapkido, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Eskrima for adult students.

Master Randy Eldred

Founder

Master Randy Eldred

Mr. Eldred began his training in 1980 with the Omaha School of Karate & Judo, under Master Dale Craig, Master Dale Miller, Master Al Pepin, and Master John Petak. He received his 1st Degree Black Belt in 1984 from Master Dale Miller. At that time, the Omaha School of Karate & Judo's curriculum consisted of Moo Duk Kwon, Taekwondo, Yudo, kickboxing, boxing, and Pressure Point Control Tactics.

He opened Eldred's School of Martial Arts in Escondido in 1992, and with the Escondido Police Department he founded the S.W.I.F.T. Kick program, which taught thousands of Escondido schoolchildren.

He served the community of Escondido for more than three decades. His family continues his legacy in the community.
